Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

This policy was drafted to describe what the platform actually does — it has not been reviewed by counsel. Do not treat it as legal advice, and have it reviewed before relying on it for real clients.

G2 Agency ("we," "us") builds and operates websites for service businesses, and this policy explains what information we collect through this site and our client relationships, how we use it, and how it's protected.

Information we collect

Contact and project forms. When you use the /contact or /start forms, we collect your name, email address, phone number (where provided), company name (on the project form) and the message or project description you write. Your email and phone number are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) before they are stored — there is no plaintext copy of that contact information in our database.

Client and billing information. If you become a client, we collect the information needed to deliver and bill for the engagement: business name, billing email, and payment details. Payment details are handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store full card numbers.

Automatically collected information. Our servers log standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and reliability purposes, and to enforce basic rate limits on form submissions.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact and project forms
  • Deliver, bill for, and support the websites and services we build
  • Send transactional email — form confirmations, invoices, and service notices
  • Maintain the security and proper functioning of this site and client sites

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share information with

We rely on a small set of service providers to operate, and share only what each needs to do its job:

  • Stripe — payment processing for one-time and recurring charges
  • Postmark — delivery of transactional email (form confirmations, invoices, account notices). Open and click tracking are disabled on every email we send
  • Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront) — hosting and content delivery for this site and the sites we build for clients

We do not share information with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we disclose information beyond the providers above only when required by law.

Data retention and security

We keep contact-form and client information for as long as it's needed to respond to your inquiry or deliver the engagement, plus a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping. Email addresses and phone numbers submitted through our forms are encrypted at rest; access to decrypt that information is limited to what's necessary to run the business.

Your choices

To ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion, email us at [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children's privacy

This site and our services are directed at business owners and are not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business changes. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
